Griffin's 10th Birthday Party

For Griffin's birthday he wanted to have some friends meet at Tobey Park to skateboard.  We compromised by letting him ask his friends to meet us at Avon Park after school with their bikes, skateboards, scooters, etc... since not all of his friends skateboard.  It was a beautiful afternoon, and the boys had a wonderful time.

We celebrated at home with our family this week too!

Happy 10th Birthday, Griffin!

Today is Griffin's 10th birthday!  He keeps referring to it as his"double-digit birthday."  He has a had a great third-grade year.  This year he has learned how to skateboard (and it is all he can think about).  He also enjoys playing baseball, being outside and spending time with his friends.  We love him so much, and we can't imagine this decade without him!

Mamie's 12th Birthday

For Mamie's family birthday she wanted a bagel box from Einstein Brother's Bagels for breakfast, and for dinner she requested cheese enchiladas and chocolate cake.  For her birthday present I am taking her to see Wicked in February, and she also got to go get her ears pierced with her friend Anne Wilkes.  We surprised them yesterday after school, and they were so excited!

Happy 12th Birthday, Mamie!

Yesterday was Mamie's 12th birthday! (I am posting this late because she had a TON of math homework last night). She is now a middle-schooler, has started babysitting some, loves to make rainbow loom bracelets, play games and hang out with her friends.  Happy Birthday, Mamie! Margaret's 7th Birthday Party

We celebrated Margaret's birthday all weekend long.  She requested hamburgers and cookie cake for her family birthday dinner.  We had her birthday party at the skating rink with a few of her friends from church and school.  She had a great birthday weekend!

Today is Margaret's 7th birthday!  That sure is hard to believe.  That means that we are about to celebrate our 7th anniversary of living in Memphis, because when we moved here she was just 6 weeks old.  Now she is a big first grader!  She loves gymnastics, ballet, art and singing, and she loves spending time with her friends and family.  Happy Birthday, Margaret!  We love you so much!  I did another birthday interview with her today...

Griffin's 9th birthday party

We celebrated Griffin's 9th birthday (early) at the bowling alley on Saturday. He loved being able to laugh and be silly with all of his buddies. It was such a fun birthday party!
