What I've Been Reading

Spring Break is here, and I thought some of you might be looking for a good book to read.  Here are some books that I have enjoyed reading this year.  (I have actually read some others that I wouldn't necessarily recommend.)  Here is my disclaimer...book choices are personal, so be sure to see what they are about before you read them. A couple of these are very realistic and some of the stuff can be "gritty" and hard to read. Happy reading!

A Praying Life

I have been reading A Praying Life by Paul Miller.  Have you read this book yet?  It is the best book I have ever read on prayer, and I highly recommend it.  I just saw in our church's bookstore that they now have a study guide to go with it.  I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did!

Library Books

I was a "secret reader" in Griffin's classroom on Friday.  It was a lot of fun, and he was totally surprised.  I read two books, but I checked out a lot of our favorites from the library.

Do you have this book?  It is one of my favorites.  It has suggestions of books for every age from board books to picture books to chapter books to read-aloud books.  We have read almost every book it suggests that our library has.  It is such a great resource!
