Christmas 2013

We celebrated Christmas in Memphis this year. We enjoyed a fun day around the house...going for a walk, making a giant cookie for Santa and cooking for Christmas day. We also went to the Christmas Eve service at church and had dinner together afterwards with Lee Lee, Doc, Lauren and David.

We had a great time together on Christmas day...unwrapping gifts, eating brunch, watching the Christmas parade, playing with new toys, eating soup for lunch, relaxing, watching a movie and doing yoga (led by Doc).

So very thankful for a wonderful Christmas celebrating with family!

Oh What Fun!

Here are some things that we did this month.  First, the kids and I made Christmas ornaments.

We had a lot of hot chocolate.

The girls performed in the choir Christmas program at church.

Margaret had a "show-off" day for the parents in her ballet class.

I baked a lot of cookies.

We decorated Christmas trees using ice cream cones.

And Griffin and I built some Christmasy legos.

Thanksgiving 2013

We spent Thanksgiving in Little Rock with Chris, Bird and Cole this year. We had a great visit! The kids loved watching the Macy's Thanksgiving parade, playing with Ozzie the dog, playing Legos & video games with Cole and going for a swim. Chris and Richie enjoyed forming a new band and coming up with some funny songs, and I enjoyed cooking. We are very thankful!
