Summer Recap - July 2012

On our way back from the beach in July, we stopped in Jackson and spent a couple of days with Lee Lee and Doc.  For some reason, I didn't take any pictures.  I was really disappointed when I looked back today.  Next we drove over to Little Rock to see Richie's parents for a couple of nights.  We had fun exploring downtown Little Rock one day.  First we stopped at the Nature Center.  It was a free museum that educated you on the wildlife in Arkansas.  The kids thoroughly enjoyed it.










After that, we went to the Historic Arkansas Museum because we heard that they had a special Barbie exhibit.  It was another good museum with art, history, and even a kid's section.









Griffin wasn't having anything to do with the Barbies, but he did ask me to take a picture of him with a couple of his favorite finds at the museum.




For lunch we ate at one of our favorite restaurants, The Flying Fish.


Margaret also learned how to ride her bike in July!  We celebrated with a traditional "I learned to ride my bike" trip to the Dinstuhl's candy store.






We went to see the Memphis Redbirds play one night in July too.  It is one of our favorite things to do as a family.  (Mamie was spending the night with a friend.  Her social calendar was very full in July!)
