Spring Break 2014 - Jackson and New Orleans

This year for Spring Break we went to visit my family in Jackson, Mississippi. We watched Mr. Peabody & Sherman, went running, played games, and enjoyed catching up with each other.

On Thursday, we took a day trip to New Orleans. We started out the day with a trip to Cafe Du Monde for some delicious beignets.

After that we went to the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas. (Margaret loved the penguins!)

Next we went on a ferry ride across the Mississippi River to Algiers Point. There were great views of the city from the ferry.

We had poor boys and muffulettas at Stanley for lunch.

We also enjoyed walking through St. Louis Cathedral, around Jackson Square, the French Quarter and the French Market after that.

It was a long but very fun and memorable day!

Back in Jackson, we went to the Natchez Trace one morning and played miniature golf that afternoon.
